Rajneeti 2
Rajneeti was a super blockbuster movie of Katrina Kaif that was a political thriller drama film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee & Naseeruddin Shah along with her and directed by Prakash Jha. Although Rajneeti 2 is also directed by Prakash Jha and it is not final that if this movie will be a real sequel to the Rajneeti 2010 film.
Rajneeti 2 will be based on the happening in politics in India’s current scenario and it will be interesting to see Karteena Kaif doing a Political Thriller after 7 long years. Rajneeti 2 release date is yet to be announced.
Thugs of Hindostan
Thugs of Hindostan is one of the upcoming movies of Katrina Kaif that will be an epic period drama film and is based on an 1839’s novel titled as ‘Confessions of a Thug’ written by Philip Meadows Taylor. The fiction novel is a story about a thug named as Ameer Ali who with his team challenges British Empire in India (which was known as Hindostan before). The story is set in between (1790-1805). The story of Thugs of Hindostan is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
Star cast of Thugs of Hindostan includes Amir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in leading role. This is second collaboration of Katrina Kaif with Amir Khan and director Vijay Krishna Acharya after Dhoom 3. In Thugs of Hindostan, Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of adoptive father of Ameer Ali (Main thug, on which the story is based).
The character of Amitabh Bachchan is named as “Ismail”. Amir Khan is playing the role of Ameer Ali, who is an orphaned child which is brought up by a Thug, Ismail. And, Katrina Kaif will be playing the role of Classical Indian Character. The release date of Thugs of Hindostan is set on 7th November 2018. The movie is produced by Yash Raj films.
Zero
Zero is a romantic drama film that is produced by Shah Rukh Khan wife Gauri Khan who is an interior designer by profession and has produced several films of Shah Rukh Khan. Zero star cast includes Shah Rukh Khan staring with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles, last time this triplet was seen in Yash Chopra’s film Jab Tak hai Jaan.
Zero is written by Himanshu Sharma and is directed by Anand L. Rai who is well-known director of Bollywood industry known for his films like Tanu Weds Manu series and Ranjhanaa. The film will be released under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment which is owned by Gauri Khan along with Colour Yellow Productions. Zero release date is set to 21th December 2018.
