Sara Gurpal is a Punjabi model, actress and singer who was born in Ratiya, Haryana on 19th November 1991 and did her schooling from the same. She has been a non-medical student and was a bright student in the field, hence she was able to be a part of the top most engineering colleges by clearing the exams like AIEEE but due to interest in the designing field and with the help of her supporting parents she did her graduation in the designing from Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology, Mohali, Punjab and during her college days she got many chances to perform the different activities of her additional interest like acting, photography and modelling, along with the graduation she started learning theatre and on the weekends, she used to go to her theatre classes.
During her graduation going on, she got a chance to do a music video with the folk king of Punjab “Ranjit Bawa” in 2013 in the song “Jean”. So after her first debut with Ranjit Bawa, she was very famous and although Punjabi Industry got a charming face as well. Sara during an interview tells about her experience in the field and she didn’t think of getting paid for the shoot but afterwards, Sara Gurpal was surprised to know that she has got 12000 as her first salary for the shoot and co-coincidentally her birthday fell on the same day as her first payment for the shoot. She also tells further that she feels that every person has his own aims and his own choices so regarding this every parent should support their children to choose a career of their interest, and no career is big or small, every field has its own specialities.
After the song “Jean” released, Sara Gurpal was well praised by the audience and critics as well this was the great start up for her and the song was a lot appreciated by the young generation. So, as a model she started her career with Jashan Anand (Director) and did most of the videos with him also she appeared with almost every singer in the industry. Like Happy Rai Koti, Ninja, Hardy Sandhu, she also played the role of a disabled girl in “Khaab” with Akhil.
Not only in the field of acting, working with the singers, she herself sings very well and she also released her first debut track named “Lagdi Att”. This very year her 3 songs back to back have been released named Rose Day, Adhura Pyar and Ishq Bimari. She also appeared with Babbal Rai and with Sharry Maan in Shadi.com.
During her music video career as a model, she felt that she has done so many videos that now it’s quite difficult for her to handle the same image as always and she wanted to achieve something better than this. That’s why in order to do this she went back to do her studies and quit the work for a few time.
And after a short span of time, Sara Gurpal got called for the move “Manje Bistre” written and produced by Gippy Garewal and directed by Baljit Singh Deo. The movie was released on the occasion of Vaisakhi and became a super hit within the days of its release. This was the great come back from her side and she became an actress from a model. So, her future plans would also be as big as her previous plans and may she keep entertaining the audience with her skills and beauty.
