Vadda Kalakaar Movie Will be focusing on the 90s culture Starring Alfaaz, Rupi Gill
Punjabi film industry has started experimenting since last few years and has given great hits based on various issues. One of its kind with a unique idea, a movie with a different theme is brought by Parul Katiyal films and Red Castle Motion pictures.
In a press conference held at Press Club Chandigarh, An announcement of the new upcoming movie Vadda Kalakar took place. The director of the movie Mr Kuldeep Kaushoik and the famous Punjabi Singer and actor, Alfaaz were present at the time of the announcement, this movie is Alfaaz’s comeback after a long time, and this will be the debut movie of Rupi Gill who gained much love of the audience after her appearance in the Diamond song & Jassi Kaur who also have a lead role in the movie.
Jassi Kaur said ”It’s been a long wait for me to pick a right concept, meanwhile I have done a serial with Big Magic channel as a main lead & two songs with ‘Ranjit Bawa’ & ‘kulbir Jhinjher’ respectively. It is a good concept for an overall entertainment of the audience.”
The famous Bollywood add maker and the director of the movie Vadda Kalakaar, Mr Kuldeep Kaushik, who has worked with Anurag Basu, told that its main focus will be on the 90s culture, the time when the VCRs usage was at its peak.
Our male protagonist (Alfaaz) of the movie gets inspired by the film industry and desires to become a celebrity Superstar, but the pathway is not easy as he has to go through many obstacles in the disguise of frauds during his struggle to win the race and become an actor. His struggle is ornamented with innumerable interesting incidents that will entertain the audience. An essence of the old Punjabi culture of love, brotherhood and friendship amongst the old people will be represented in Vadda Kalakaar movie.
Mr Satish Kautiyal, the producer of the Vadda Kalakaar movie, says that the movie is an alloy of Romance, comedy and family relations and its representation in the modern cinema will spread knowledge to the youth of Punjab, about the old Punjabi culture and will connect the movie to the current generation of the young.
The entire Vadda Kalakaar movie cast Rupi Gill, Jassi Kaur, Alfaaz, Yograj Singh, B N Sharma, Prince AJ, Rajan were present at the conference. Yograj Singh accepts that the Punjabi Cinema has reached great heights and taking care of the demands of the audience, Punjabi Cinema has brought many changes and this movie will also set an example for the same and bring something afresh to serve the audience.
B N Sharma admitted that he used to do comic roles but this time his character in this movie is totally different. Rupi Gill declared that she is quite happy that she has got an opportunity to work with such great legends of the Punjabi Cinema in her upcoming debut movie.
