DEEP SIDHU TO LEAD UPCOMING PUNJABI FILM STATE V/S WARYAM SINGH

In this time Punjabi cinema has grown up to a level where general comedy centred films cannot grab the attention of good audience. And hence, some people in the industry have understood the fact, which is why we are having some other subjects too on silver screens of Punjabi cinema.

One of these projects is this upcoming film named as State V/S Waryam Singh, which will be a mix of drama and thriller. This film is starring Deep Sidhu as lead actor and we have seen his amazing work in film Jora 10 Numbariya.

Deep Sidhu is from rare actors in Punjabi industry who have really learned acting and are from theatre background. This adds up in his personality as an actor.

State V/S Waryam Singh will be releasing under the banner of Loud Roar Films and is produced by Vimal Chopra, Harpreet Singh Devgun and Adarsh Bansal.

Directed by Imran Sheikh, who also directed recently released film of Harish Verma named as Nadoo Khan. The story is penned by very talented writer, Mintu Gursariya, who has given a blockbuster like Dakuaan Da Munda to Punjabi film industry.

This will be a courtroom drama and Deep Sidhu will be seen in an Advocate’s Avtar this time. The story may include mystery and thrill in it. Punjabi cinema does need these kind of film which are based on serious subjects and can represent serious thrill in them.

Deep Sidhu was last seen in Punjabi film Rang Punjab which was directed by Rakesh Mehta and he has always been known for doing work in a different direction than trend.

He has also signed a comedy film this time with director Prem Sidhu. Deep Sidhu is also working in a series for Netflix and soon he will be seen as a lead in second part of Jora 10 Numbaria.

State V/S Waryam Singh will be releasing in 2020. This is the second film of Imran Sheikh, although Nadhoo Khan failed to do good business on screens, let’s see what will be response to this film of his career in industry.
