Mannat Noor is from Jammu but her sister is married in Mohali, Punjab. Whenever Mannat Noor got holidays from her school, especially in Jammu schools do not work for around 2.5 months due to winter and during those days Mannat Noor used come at her sister’s place in Mohali. Coming to Punjabi was the best part of her life and she was totally in touch with the Punjabi language due to this. She has a good command over the Punjabi language along with a great voice.
Mannat Noor started singing during her school days and she was always praised for her talent. Paviter Pitta was very happy when she listened to the magical voice of Mannat Noor and selected her.
Mannat Noor debut track was Sari Raat Nachchna which was penned by Paviter Pitta and music was done by R Guru. This was not really the first track sung by Mannat Noor as she recorded some of the songs for movies but none of the movie was released because of some reasons. Which is why Mannat was unable to get recognized all around, but working with Paviter Pitta took her career to heights and after debut song Sari Raat Nachchna another track was released named as Shoqeen Jatti and then she got to work with J Star and she was recognized well for her work at various places.
Her role models are mostly female singers like Alka Yagnik, she is one of the greatest fans of Alka Yagnik and admires her a lot as she said in a interview that she has grown up listening to Alka Yagnik’s songs. Other than her, she listens to Jadpinder Narula and Surinder Kaur. Now-a-days she is trending with upcoming Punjabi movie Laung Lachi’s title track “Laung Lachi”.
