  1. Maine Pyar Kiya (December 1989)

This was the very first movie of sultan of Bollywood industry, Salman Khan which included his lead role in the film. In opposite to him was Bhagyashree along with Reema Lagoo and Laxamikant Berde. The movie was done under the direction of Sooraj Barjatya. In a very short period of time, getting only 29 prints in total, the movie become highest Indian grossing film of all the times. The film also won awards like Filmfare award for best male debut. Music of the film is also ever green as it includes songs by Lata Mangeshkar, songs like Aaja Sham hone aayi, Kabutar Ja Ja Ja and many more.

Plot:

The film was a romantic-musical love story. Plot of the film is that there are two love birds named as Prem and Suman, both fell madly in love with each other. But due to family differences, they are not accepted by the families of both. And a time comes when Suman’s father agrees to marry his daughter to Prem on a note that if Prem proves himself worthily of the girl.

This is one of the best movies of Salman Khan and was very successful all around the box office. The romantic-comedy tale was filmed on Madhuri Dixit along with Salman Khan. Plot: The film along with comedy created an emotional drama and its impact of every heart as Prem (Salman Khan’s Character name) and Nisha (Madhuri Dixit’s Character name), who is sister in law of Prem’s elder brother Rajesh. They love each other but when Rajesh’s wife died, the family forced him to marry Nisha. And both of them sacrificed their love for the sake of family.

  1. Judwaa (1997 film)

This is one of the comedy films for what the Salman Khan is known for, as the name of the film describes, the movie included double role of Salman Khan in the film. One character was named as Prem and another Raja. There are some hit songs from the movie like Unchi Hai Building by Annu Malik and Sushma Shretha, Go East of West India is the best by Annu Malik.

The film stared Karishma Kapoor and Rambha along with Salman Khan in double role. Director of this film was Devid Dhawan. The movie was remake of a Telugu film, Hello Brother which was further inspired from a Hollywood movie named as Twin Dragons.

Plot: Vanraj (Ajay Devgan) and Nandani (Ashwareya Rai) are newly married couple but after some time Vanraj notes down that Nandani did not seem happy with him. Later he finds out that she is already in love with another man named Sameer (Salman Khan). So, he decides to unite the love birds together, rather than making Nandani feel uncomfortable for a lifetime. He takes her to Italy in search of Sameer.

The film came up with a new look of Salman Khan which was well appreciated throughout the globe. This film left a soft mark on every heart that beats for love as this Sad romantic drama film reflected side of true love between two love birds. The movie was directed by Satish Kaushik and Written by Jainendra Jain. Tere Naam had many songs that went on the repeat list of many people. Songs like Tere Naam, Ohdini and Lagan Lagi are some of the best songs belonging to this film. Many awards and honours were won by the music directors of the film for such a good work at music.

Plot: The movie had very unique and different plot that created an emotional feeling in the cinema halls. Radhe (Salman Khan) who is a college pass out and a rogue that uses only violence a way to solve every problem that comes hhis way, Radhe falls in love with Nirjara (Bhumika Chawala). Nirjara belongs to a poor family while her choices and styles are reflection of simplicity, when Radhe purposes her, for firs she rejects him but later she falls for him too. After a major fight with some gang of college Radhe lost his memory and which results him getting mad at everything. On the other hand Nirjara commits suicide because her marriage was fixed to other man. When Radhe came back to his senses, after knowing all this he passes all his life in mental hospital in wait of his love.

  1. Mujhse Shaddi Karogi (2004)

Mujhse Saddi Karogi is also directed by the director of Judwaa, Devid Dhavan. This Romantic-Comedy tale stared Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopda along with Akshey Kumar as supporting actor in the film. Movie did good business at the box office where as it was also nominated for three filmfare, 13 IIFA awards, 2005, from which it won 5 awards including best actress, best direction and best film award.

Other tha this it included best music as well. Songs like Mujhse Shaddi Karogi, Laal Dupatta and Jeene Ke Hain Char Din become very popular and evergreen.

Plot: The story revolves around three main characters, Sameer (Salman Khan), Sunny (Akshay Kumar) and Rani (Priyanka Chopda). Sameer who holds a horoscope that luck in love will never be in his favour and he will stay unlucky for this during all his life. While Sunny is Sameer’s roommate who falls in love with the same girls Sameer is in love with, that is none other than a fashion designer, Rani.

  1. Dabangg (2010 film)

 Dabangg was first debut film of Shatrugan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha with Salman Khan. Salman Khan was seen in character of a police man who dares from no one at any place where he is transferred. Not only this but the character was quite comedy, wonderful and holds a very interesting name “Chulbul or Robinhood Pande”. This was a romantic film that included sort of comedy and political touch. Sonu Sood was main villain of the story. Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap.

Plot: Chulbul Pandey is a cop that is against corruption but he too makes money from the things due to which he has many issues with his father and brother. This was a sequel to Dabangg. A new city along with new challenges roam around Chulbul Pandey and the married life of Chulbul and Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha) continues. The movie was written by Dilip Shukla where as direction id done by Azbaaz Khan. Very famous villain role man of Bollywood and other industries was part of this movie as well, that is Prakash Raj, who plays villain in the movie.

The film did very good at the box office. It has also become highest grossing Bollywood films of all the times in India and worldwide as well. The movie also won the award for the Best Actor in the film which was Salman Khan and this was choice of people who gave him this honour.

Plot: When Bhachcha (Prakash Raj)’s brother Genda (Deepak Dobriyal) tried to kidnap a girl during her marriage just because he wants to spend a night with her. Chulbul Pandey encounters him on the spot while he was doing all this. Bachcha gets angry over this and attacks on Rajjo as a revenge while she is pregnant, which results in abortion of the baby. Chulbul Pandey decides to finish this up in his own ways.

In this film, Salman Khan was seen in a completely different look as it was hard for one to recognize that whether he is a villain of hero of the film. Staring along with Randeep Hooda, Jacqueline Fernandez and Navazuddin Saddiqui, he came up with a complete master pack of entertainment for the viewers. Bajarangi Bhaijaan stared Navazuddin Saddiqui, Kareena Kapoor and Harshaali Malhotra along with Salman Khan. Plot: A little girl named as Shahida (Harshaali Malhotra) belongs to a Pakistani Village at Kashmir. After so many years also, Shahida was not able to speak a word from her birth because of which her mother take her to the shrine of Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi, India to do a prayer for her voice as she believed like may Mislims that here their wishes are completed by the god. But unfortunately during travelling back to Pakistan, while the mother was sleeping, Shahida went lost in India. She meets Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi Alias Bajrangi who is a devout of Lord Hanuman and living with a family of his father’s known. When he finds that the girl is from Pakistan he tries to send her back to her home via a marketing agency but finds that they sold the little girl her. After much of troubles her decides to take care of Shahida and takes the responsibility to go to Pakistan even without any Passport just to take the girl home safely. The story revolves around Shahida and Bajrangi who are in a great trouble when they enter in Pakistan.

  1. Sultan (2016)

Sultan was a great film that gave Salman Khan a title that he is the “Sultan” of Bollywood industry where as in a Colors Channel reality show, Bigg Boss that is hosted by Salman Khan. They kept a theme named as “Sultani Akhara”. This shows that love of the audience for that film is still alive. The movie did a great business at box office. It was great to see this inspiring film, as well as the chemistry of Anushka Sharma with Salman Khan for the first time on screen. The movie was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and released under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

Plot: Sultan Ali Khan is a middle age wrestler who has quit his passion after the death of his newly born son in the consequences when his wife was about to deliver the baby. But Sultan chose to go for fight that can give him a gold medal for international championship. This makes him an international gold medallist but his newly born son died because he needed blood of a particular blood group that belongs to Sultan himself. Hence, his wife lefts him in the pain that he should feel that how wrong he has done to his family, soon someone shakes him up to continue the passion just to bring his wife back in his life. The story inspires one along with this it creates a love story that is different from very usual ones.
